ABOUT
WHO ARE YOU?
I’m Paawan!
I want to manage some of the most exciting projects in the world powerful enough to be remembered for years to come while empowering those around me. It's been a long journey from the days when my family use to all sleep in one small room in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. I'm grateful for everyone that has helped me along the journey, all the help/mentorship I have received along the way has really taught me the importance of lifting up and caring for those around you as you become successful, this has really become a big part of who I've become as a person and the type of leadership style I portray. I'm a confident, intelligent, talented but most importantly compassionate & dedicated individual looking to join a team where I can lift up those around me, constantly learn, work alongside some of the brightest minds, and be challenged.
WHERE ARE YOU NOW?
Currently, I'm working as a Senior Project Engineer at Curran Contracting near Chicago, IL spending most of my time managing a Global Facebook Data Center. Other projects I am currently working on are a K9 Dog Training Facility - Ohare Airport, 2 tollway & airport reconstructions, an Amazon warehouse, and multiple other small projects (1M-5M). My project management responsibilities have included forecasting cash flow, budgeting, change order management, planning and scheduling, estimating, contract administration, procuring subcontractors, progress/performance measurements, project strategy, developing work plans, project closeouts, managing public & private clients, managing subcontractors, and resolving various disputes.
On the side, I am also working on building up my company, Dandona Investments LLC, as a personal investment company during my free time on the weekends. Currently I have flipped a total of 3 properties, and have 2 rentals.
WHAT’S NEXT?
I've been very fortunate to have gotten to be a major contributor on some of the worlds most technologically advanced and exciting projects including Super Computer Aurora - "Worlds Fastest Computer", Facebook's Global Data Center (Dekalb) - "100% renewable 800M data center", and New Brunswick Laboratory Decommissioning - "Uranium cleanout from the Manhattan Project used to build the Atomic Bomb in WW2". These project have been amazing and I've learned so much being apart of two very talented teams at both Argonne and Curran; although I've really enjoyed my jobs so far, I'm ready for a new experience and the opportunity to grow my career even further. I look forward to the new and exciting challenges that await.
